Optical Fiber Modem

The FOM-FE1 and FOM-V.35 fiber optic modem are designed to transmit high speed data
over a pair of single mode fiber optic cable and work on connection of PABX, routers or
other networking devices with distance from 5 to 100km. Single core optical transceiver
for single fiber network is available for order.

FOM-FE1 that supports fractional E1 ( Nx64 Kbps ) with G.703 interface and FOM-V.35
that supports transmission speed of 64Kbps up to 2.048 Mbps with V.35 data interface.

Data speed rate is defined via the DIP switches located on the bottom of the equipment.
LED indicators are equipped on the front panel for the interfaces and transmission statues.
Built-in BER tester and loopback facility for local and remote is achieved from the push
button on front panel. The design of the modem is high compact and operation is
simplified.

AiSai ASC-100-E/FE-B-V
V.35/Ethernet to E1 Interface Converters

Cater to the multi-services requirement by the digital data network, Aisai designs and
manufactures a series of interface converter that perform the conversion from V.35 or
Ethernet signals to the 2Mbps structured (framed) or non-structured (unframed) E1
G.703/G.704 data signal.

The ASC-100-E/V and ASC-100-FE/V perform data signal conversion from V.35 data to
E1 signal. The ASC-100-E/V provides transparent transport to the E1 network and ASC-
100-FE/V supports nx64Kbps with structured or non-structured mode transport.

The V.35 converter works as a bit rate adapter and the ASC-100-FE/V follows the frame
recommended in ITU-T G.704. The framing can be deactivated and resulting in a trans-
parent 2.048 Mbps converters (n=1 to 32).

The ASC-100-E/B and ASC-100-FE/B perform data signal conversion from 10/100BaseT
Ethernet and bridge over the E1 network. The ASC-100-E/B provides transport to the E1
network transparently and ASC-100-FE/B supports nx64Kbps with structured or non-
structured mode transport.

The Ethernet converter supports TCP/IP bridging and MAC address auto learning. It pro-
vides user defined dual 120 ohm and 75 ohm E1 interfaces and 10/100BaseT (speed rate
auto sensing) / RJ45 Ethernet interface.

The ASC-100-CS is a standard 19" rack mounting shelf for different types of converter
and supports hot standby dual AC/DC power suppliers. The management control card,
NMS-CC which support SNMP manage control.

(Remark: Non-structured (unframed) transport will not support remote system control,
since all the bandwidth are used for transparent data transportation.)
